There are many forumities who have IP's in Rocky, and so far none ( that I've know ) have found any one who regularly does depreciation schedules up there.

I contacted Paul Bennion at Deppro in Brisbane re doing a trip up there , and provided we could provide him with at least one days work , he was happy to visit Rocky .

The one days work has already been organised , however he is happy to do more if people are interested.

Apparently the new changes to depreciation will mean that any depreciation schedules organised after July 1st will need to reflect the new rules.

If you are interested in getting in getting this done , Contact Deppro in Brisbane on 07 3420 5755. As it is out of their normal area of opperations I don't think the discount price for Somersoft members of $440 applies.

No, the discount doesn't apply, but at $550 per property its still good value, considering the benefits. They do have to also cover airfares etc to Rocky.
Deppro are good at what they do- I have used them for my Brisbane house as well and were very happy with the service.
Looking forward to getting my Rocky schedules back :)

SC

Can you enlighten me on the extent of DEPpro's 'normal area of operation' is as I have had 2 dep scheds done over the last year or so and I was not aware of any 'mates rates' for being a forumite member.

As simple as putting "Quantity Surveyor Rockhampton" into Google

http://www.google.com.au/search?source=ig&hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENAU304&=&q=quantity+surveyor+rockhampton&btnG=Google+Search&meta=lr%3D

You already have all of ours Neil;)

Thanks Dave

Yes it's an old thread for sure. I just found it in the keyword related threads at the bottom of the other one with the "D" word in it that Scott just posted on.

Cheers

Not real good. As with any town hanging off the mining boom...........

I was talking with an RE agent today. Sales currently about 10% of what they were a year or 2 ago.

Scary

Have prices dropped much ?

My research showed in the past that when Rocky stopped it tended to STOP !!! and drop ....

One of the reasons why I sold when the market was still strong ?

The prices have dropped, but I don't think much less than anywhere else.

The info I was shown yesterday showed the values still pretty high but sales very slow. Not sure how long that can remain for??
