I've been a bit crook the last couple of days, and while sitting around today feeling sorry for myself, I thought I'd put together a new forum I've been meaning to do for a while (yes, I know - it's a disease !)
So, I've started the Emptor Forums (http://emptor.asksim.com/forums).
Emptor means "a person who buys" (see the dictionary.com (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=emptor) entry). A number of times recently when looking to purchase a new appliance or other such item, I've found a distinct lack of good information out there about the options and which would be right for me.
So, this site comes out of frustration I guess, I've been meaning to create it for a while - I just didn't have the time (and needed to think up a good name :D )
I'm expecting the site to evolve - I just thought I'd throw it up there and see what happens !
