hmm - I wonder what this one is about...as I wasn't sure it was real estate related I put it in here :)

Source of my intel: http://www.propertyinvesting.com/forum/topic/11759.html

Sounds like it will be done before his seminar runs.....maybe even advance copies will be there for sale.

Cheers,

I enjoy those books myself.

The more people believe that cashflow is the only way to wealth, the less demand there will be for good growth properties- and the more demand for the cashflow properties I bought at the right time :D

Doesn't he offer a free chapter of his book via the forum?? 0-130 I think. Why is it free?? Why not include it in next book??

I believe he now invests in NZ so I'd imagine, it will be heavily focussed on promoting o/s investing??

Personally, I can't see Steve handing out new book as "freebie" at his already "cheapie" seminar (cheap in comparison to normal seminar costs).

Only time will tell....

G'day Monopoly,

Here's the answer in Steve's own words:-
Bonus Chapter
If there's one problem with From 0 to 130 Properties in 3.5 Years it's that there's no specific mention of how to mitigate your investment risk. Put another way... how do you manage the potential problem that your positive cashflow properties will turn into negative cashflow money fleas when interest rates rise?

Well, in the interests of being an all-round nice guy, I've written a FREE supplementary chapter titled 'Managing the Risk of Investing'.

:D And it's available in pdf format on his website.

Giving away something free is a classic way to sell stuff.

It's also a good reinforcement for those who have already bought.

Personally I have no issues with this strategy - provided the free gift is actually free, which in this case it is :)

Cheers,

Aceyducey

If you're referring to Monopoly, I suggest you take a closer look at the avatar :) OK, I see what you mean.

Although I have the option to view Avatars set, I don't actually see them. :( (If the skin is set to Somersoft plain, the avatar setting does not work).

GP,

I am no longer a moderator on Steve's forum.

Furthermore, I am not concerned about his "free chapter" I just didn't understand why it was not included in his last (or next) book. If that info was provided on the home page, then yes I'm guilty of having overlooked it. Oh well.....(sigh) such is life!!

GeoffW,

I forgive you, just don't let it happen again!!! :p Now had you have said that after viewing my pic I would have been REAL worried!!! :(

Thanks for the answer guys; I appreciate it!!!

Cheers,

Jo ;)

Oh, okay. Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing a thread about that.

If that info was provided on the home page
Basically what Les quoted is on the home page.

But I have to admit, in many forums I usually skip the home page as well.

GP,

This may come as a shock :p but I tend to be guilty of skimming over those lengthy "Terms & Conditions" statements on alot of things too....naughty of me I know, oh well, guess some of us just never learn..LOL :D

It would have come as much more of a shock if you'd said you actually read them :D

And in reality, how often to you think you'd NOT accept something because of what's stated in the terms and conditions? Chances are all alternate products have much the same conditions anyway.

On the contract for the house which we used to own in England, it stated that "no alcohol or iniquitous liquors shall ever be sold in these premises"

Well I would read the terms and conditions on high value contracts (or at least my lawyer would). I was thinking more of the stuff you encounter every other day, like the EULAs for software, terms & conditions that you have to agree to to sign up for just about any Website, and so on.

I think the number of people who've actually read an EULA for any software they've installed would have to be a tiny fraction of 1%. Personally I've far better things to do with my time than worry about all the licence conditions on software I've paid $50 (or even $500) for.

And even though ignorance of the law is supposedly no excuse, I have to say I'm probably ignorant of a good 99% or more of Australia's laws too. It must have been so much easier back in the days when they only had ten commandments to worry about :D.

Yep I'm with you GP,

House contracts are my solicitor's/conveyancer's job to read, that's why I pay them!!!

As for the 10 commandments, luckily Moses dropped that third tablet (according to History of the World Part I) containing the other 5 !!! LOL :p

Did it give any indication of what those other five were?

You know, if Moses turned up today giving sermons about leading people to the promised land, he'd probably be decried as a property spruiker :D

If we only had cold water in the morning I don't think I would shower much :o I went camping the other week and the water in the morning was freezing and in the arvo it wasn't much better (it came from a waterfall). Needless to say I waited until I got home to have another shower :D
I figure the swimming made up for it and I was camping alone so I didn't think I smelled :)

I figure the swimming made up for it and I was camping alone so I didn't think I smelled :) Some years ago, I went backpacking in Malaysia and Thailand. I could almost cope with the "showers" which were just a tap from the water tank. But I did have troble with the more tradiotional method of tipping cold water over yourself.

It all gives a different meaning to a "cooling off period".
