Hi all

First post here, still trying to catch up on the backlog of threads. Great place by the looks of things.

Had a couple of flyers in the mail for a Mum To Millionaire seminar run by a woman called Denise Alen. At $197 its cheaper than most of the other seminar junk mail I get, and I wondered if anyone knew about these seminars. (Usually things are cheaper for a reason!)

I am interested in attending as there is still so much I feel I need to learn before taking the plunge on first IP. I also want to find out how to maximise the value of my current home before I sell it to start investing.

Any feedback on Denise Alen's seminar much appreciate.

Cam

Webmaster needs to make the search button bigger :)

Thanks for the patient help Sunstone - newbie here.

Doh! Glebe, the search button is big enough, its just my thinking that was too small. I have searched the forum for lots of things in the past couple of days, but did I think to search for Denise Alen? No... (embarassed silence)

I think I will give the seminar a skip for now, there is nothing to really stongly reccomend it, and a few concerns attached to it. And yes, it seems that the day would be better spent sifting through these forums, and putting the $200 towards the great booklist.

Dear Cam,

No problems. ;)

Welcome to the forum, it is a wealth of information and I am sure that there are areas you can help contribute to the knowledge base. :)

Spending $200 on the booklist is a great idea. Jas in the FAQ has put together a good list.

For myself three essentials in the library would be:

The richest man in babylon - George S. Clason
Building Wealth Story by Story - Jan Somers
Ordinary Millionaires - Jim McKnight (AKA Story by Story II)

Also a useful although US site worth looking at is:

Enjoy the journey.

Sunstone.
