Hi all,
Havent been in here for ages but have a question:
Where do i find out a definitive answer on whether the cost that I incur in buying and selling an investment property is either claimable in full in the current year (like the cost of a quantity surveyor) or written off over 5 years..costs associated with obtaining funds or not claimable.
For example most solicitor costs are not claimable, but i have one ($750) which says 'costs associated with mortgage'. Similarly, is the costs that I am currently incurring 'lenders mortgage insurance' a claimable cost?
