Editing Posts

hi all,
i cant seem to edit posts, the edit button is not visable.
i've gone through all the help pages etc but cant seem to find anything on this.
and before you ask, yes i have logged on, checked my profile etc.

There's a time limit on editing posts.. for a certain time period after you've made a post you can edit it.. then it gets locked down when that time expires.

You can also pm a moderator to change or delete a post for you.

They may or may not, depends on your reasons.

They may or may not, depends on your reasons.But no moderator will EVER modify a post for you which is not in one of the forums (sorry, fora) they moderate.

There are super mods and super super mods (Sim') who can modifiy anything anywhere but we mortal mods have a more limited access.

yeah thanks for that geoff.

i have since found out what i needed to know.
i originally just wanted to modify one of my posts as it was not my intention to discredit any person (see doubt management)
