Hi everybody,
My wife and I are about to start buying invetsment properties in Melbourne metro area. The accountant I have used for years has been great, helping me out when I was in a jam, but he has no experience with prop investment. Can anyone recommend a good accountant (pref in the West) who owns investment properties, and could do a great job assisting us to build wealth?

much appreciated,
Phillip

Dale Gatherum Goss is the man whom most on this site will recommend. You can send him a private message to "DaleGG".
I've just finished reading his 2 books which are a good read if your getting serious with investing.

Dale is the best around when it comes to property investment, especially when it comes to being proactive. He is on the East side (East Kilsyth), not the west- but I'm a client from Canberra, and he has clients in Japan- so distance should not be a big issue.

Thanks Ross!
You're from my home town, you old Sandgroper! How's R.E. over there? I was brought up in Dianella..
Thanks for the Recommendation- I will call Dale today

cheers
Phillip :)

thanks Geoff

I will chase him up...even though I live in Ballan and he's in Kilsyth.. that's about a ... 2 1/2 hour trip one way! But, I've been told that the your recommendation is a huge elephant stamp so I will contact him for a chat .
cheers
Phillip

I would concurr with the others. No need to look any further. Dale's the one.

A huge proportion of our clients use him and over the years.

I have only heard one complaint and that was a few days ago by someone who was uspet that he wasn't prepared to spend time on the phone giving free advice ( He wasn't a client yet just shopping around)

Everyone else who had realistic expectations has been thrilled with his service

Dale is the man !
Said it before, and I'll say it again ... "Dale is the man !".
There, I said it again, let it not be said I'm not a man of my word.

Seriously we depend on our professionals.
We search for IP knowledge, taught and experienced.
We search for integrity and honesty.
We search for friendliness, understanding and help when needed.
We search for timely communication.
We search for all this and more, yet at a reasonable price.
In the accounting field the search is over more most of us.
We have found the holy grail ... DaleGG.

And so let in be recorded in the annuls of time that "Dale is the man !"
However I don't wish to insinuate that other of our accountant members aren't equally good, it's just that I dont have experience of them.

I will chase him up...even though I live in Ballan and he's in Kilsyth.. that's about a ... 2 1/2 hour trip one way! The trip doesn't have to be done frequently- much of your work can be done by email and phone. I've been down to see him, that's more than a 2 1/2 hour trip!

Thanks all
Sounds to me that it would be worth visiting Dale even if I lived in Perth. I have communicated with Dale and he is calling me next week and I will arranage meeting asap. Lots to discuss. I am so happy to have found someone who is clearly right up with IP tax issues.
cheers!
Phillip

I can thoroughly THOROUGHLY t-h-r-o-r-u-g-h-l-y recommend NickM of www.strategicwealthmanagement.com.au. He is also "The Man" :D His advice and help getting me out of a very complex situation was beyond outstanding. If you can get a chance to attend one of his sessions on HDT's do it too !

Disclaimer : There may be a number of "The Men" around then, and some of them may be women.
