When opening an account a Bank requires that identification be submittedd that passes the 100 point test.
ING BAnk doesnt reqire this........... why?

ING relies on the user having a valid bank account at another local bank, I guess
they presume that you have passed the 100 point check at that other bank.

Interesting?! My understanding is that you routinely transfer funds from your existing (and 100 point checked) bank account to ING and back again, but that's 3rd hand...

Yes, as ING only links to another bank account, and you can only transfer funds between the two accounts, they don't require the 100 point check since the original bank would have required it.

Same if you use a BankWest linked account.
