Havent been on here for ages,
how is everyone.
The last six months for me has been flat out.
Just sold a IP in Brisbane, got one on the market in Townsville and have just purchased another property in Brisbane(Chapel Hill)
Started an Advertising Agency with my wife(which is just doing great0
Started a Creative Agency with an associate.
My little boy is now nearly 9 months old. (nother on the way due December)
Just had time to lurk a couple of times in the past months.
I feel I have learnt a lot in the last 6 months and hopefully I can once again contribute something useful to this great forum.

Hi Bicko,
Good to see you're back.
Did you leave your regular job?
All the best with the Advertising Agency.
What exactly is a Creative Agency?

Started a Creative Agency with an associate.
My little boy is now nearly 9 months old. So obviously the Creative Agency started nearly 18 months ago :D

Unless his son was born early in which case your assumption is a little premature...

Unless there was a misconception.
And you're expecting me to respond to that? Any misconception would surely only worsen the time frames...unless it was immaculate.
Maybe creative agency = some sort of business incubator?

Hi Bicko.
Don't know you but I used to work in advertising in Brisbane many moons ago. Some of the guys I was with are now with Mojo Partners.
Do you use AIS to do your media?
Which Bris suburb was the IP you sold?

An immaculate misconception?
Something for the 'right-for-lifers' to debate I think.
Traditionally creative agencies have proven to be very bad at incubating businesses.
Several have tried over the years (mostly OS), but generally the results have shown that 'creative' doesn't necessarily mean creative.
But anyone watching advertising can figure that out in the time it takes for them to fast forward with their IQ (http://www.foxteliq.com.au) or another DVR or switch channels with their remotes.
Cheers,

The first bruce,
we book through Media Placement Services.
The IP was in Sherwood.
And yes I have been very creative havent I.
By creative agency I mean, production of print, radio and TV ads.
