I am purchasing a $310,000 unit to rent out.
Government stamp duties and charges add up to an additional $18,000
I have that amount available in a housing loan with redraw , the money is profit from my business.
Should I use some of this money to pay these duties (and is this then tax deductible) , or should I borrow the money (as I read somewhere that these fees become a capital deduction when selling the house) ?
