I notice an interview on the the "Sunday" program- transcript on http://sunday.ninemsn.com.au/sunday/political_transcripts/article_1156.asp
It's interesting that even the treasurer of the country has trouble with some basic economic concepts.
In predicting an oversupply of uits and subsequent possible decline in values, he says,
"So, I'd say to buyers, you should be aware that the amount of construction that's going on means that at some point the demand will outstrip the supply"
Which, I suspect, is not what he actuall meant to say.
