Does anyone know about what happens when one of the unit holders in the trusts dies? Is it any more complicated or costly than the normal transfer of property on death from spouse to spouse??

Don't think so. The units should just form part of the estate to be transferred or disposed of as per the will?

Hi

The units owned by the deceased are just another asset and along with all other assets, the units are transferred to their beneficiaries of the deceased in accordance with their legal will.
