DS worth it?

Generally I agree that DS are worth their weight however having come across some 2-5yr old properties listed for around $240k - $260k I am wondering how much actual depreciation would give considering the low cost of these properties?

Any ideas anyone?

On a 2-5 year old property, it's always worth it.

I second that. 2-5 year properties around that amount should yield about $2,000 for the full first year in tax breaks. And thats just the first year.

Ok thanks guys - I had thought only much dearer newer properties would be best but that at least sounds ok.
