If a homeowner, when do u consider your 1st IP?

I'm a homeowner and I would like to know at what point of owner equity is it feasible to invest in an IP. Should I wait till at least 50% is paid off? Or is 25% okay?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers JO

Hi Jo, Have you read all of Jan Somers books ?? If not get into them ASAP, their the best investment you'll make.. As Jan says in the books, always buy as soon as you can afford it. The longer you wait the higher the prices go. Beside you'd be mad not to take advantage of the recent bank products which actually help you to pay off your home sooner with an investment property.
