pets in IPs

Hi! Has anyone experimented with allowing pets in IPs with special terms, covenants, slightly higher rent, more bond, anything like that?
Does anyone have any anecdotes along these lines?
If so, I would like to hear from you - I'm writing a story which discusses these possibilities.

(pssst... hey geoffw, there's a better way to paste links - use the "post #" on the top right hand corner of a post - it's more accurate since it doesn't have session information like the URL at the top. Right mouse click on the post # link, select "Copy Shortcut" and paste that into your post. :) )
