Notify messages

Hi,

I'm not sure what is happening here.

I've modified my profile to notify me of private messages. But sometimes I'm not getting the notify.

I can go into my messages a day after the last notification, and see that there are outstanding messages. But, if I've missed on the first notify, I have no knowledge that there is an unread message.

Perhaps something for the wish list. Even if I have received notification, perhaps there could be something like a flashing icon to show me if there are still unread private messages in my mailbox?

when you log on, down the bottom on the first page, it says how many PM's you (new ones). Does this work?

That message is there (thanks, I hadn't really noticed it)- but there's two small problems

1. It's not prominent. It might be more useful at the top of the page

2. It would be useful just to be able to click the message or icon to open the messages. When I do receive notification, I click on the OK- it works great. But if I do see that I've got messages, I've got to hunt around to figure out where to open them from.
