When you move a post can you please modify the title to indicate where it was moved to.

Also some of the moved threads become incomplete as the first part issometimes not moved again is it possible to move all the text of the thread.

When a thread is moved from one forum to another, it is moved in its entirety - so there are no bits missing.

Sometimes it is necessary to split threads into multiples because threads get so off track from the original question. The recent Andrea Sutton thread is one example. Generally we try and keep the context in place, but in the this example, the Microsoft stuff kind of came out of left field (no real relevance to previous posts), so was just split out into a new thread.

When threads are moved between forums, a "redirect" is left in the original forum to show people that it has been moved. I regularly delete these redirects after they have been around for at least 2 weeks. Changing the title to indicate where it was moved to will not help anyone.

When threads a split, we try and put links into the original thread to show which bits were split off.
