Can anyone tell me how to keep unread posts if I need to disconnect from the net? It gets a little frustrating sometimes when I am going through the posts, and get halfway through them and have to jump off the net, then when I get back on, the posts I hadn't read are gone.
I liked how in the old forum, you were able to mark posts as read at your leisure. Sometimes I don't have time to read all the bazillions of posts that are here. That's a lot of posts to read, you know, bazillions.

Hi Mark,
try just closing the window rather than logging out....i know when I've "logged out" at the bottom of the screen all my unread posts were marked read when I logged back on later...
hope this helps

I understand your problem. The best solution I can suggest is that if you have to leave before reading all unread posts, that when you come back you go for the "View Today's Active Threads" link which will show all updated threads (in order of last update) from the last 24 hours.
If it takes you more than a day, go to the search page and use the "Day Search" feature to show updated threads in the last X days.
