The front page of Saturday’s Sydney Telegraph had a story about The NSW Government and its efforts to collect old outstanding fines. It gave the story about a dog which had bitten someone some 12 years ago. The dog was fined, and they paid the fine. But now the NSW government is asking for the fine to be paid.

The headline?

In Yesterday's Kalgoorlie Miner about a fire at a fast food outlet.

"Hungry Jacks Flame Grilled by Bin Blaze"

One of my favourites from way back was the story of the lunatic who escaped from the asylum, ran into a laundry, raped the women who worked there, and headed for who knows where.....

Headline in the paper next morning read:-

Not really politically correct, but' years ago there was a story about a headline in the papers - "Man wanted for rape" and as the story goes, the next day hundreds of fellas applied.
