Quintets,
Interesting, I used this facility just a few weeks back and it cost me $8.50. Not sure whether it changed since then to be free now. Anyway, good facility. I used it to value my neighbours place to get a fair value estimate to buy a parcel of land off him. Worked well. Kissfan, the rates notices should be the same except where they are using an outdated valuation. The valuation shows which valuation is the current one for the rates notice. e.g. For Pittwater, they are using the 2003 valuation, but I got the latest valuation from the VGO which was effective 28/10/2004. So, there can be a difference between what's on rates notices and the current valuation. Cheers, Michael.

Yes Peter, it was changed back a little while ago. I believe it is in the vicinity of $300k. No threshold, however, on trusts & companies.

Thats what I thought. OSR website is still behind.
Reason I asked is I am looking at moving my PPOR into a trust. Whilst I can then NG I willbe up for 1.4c per $1 so $2800 a year!!!. Need to crunch the numbers. Thanks Skater.
