The thing is, every success story I read in API or on SS usually involves buying an undervalued property, and taking the equity out from it to buy another undervalued property. Rinse and repeat...
Haven't yet read of any situations where the property investor saved the entire IP deposit between property purchases!
Currently we have a buffer we're not willing to dip into, so it would take us quite a while to save up for an entire IP deposit considering my unpaid maternity leave during that time!
Might have to rethink this one...
