floor sand/polish recommendation Melb

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a floor/sander polisher in Melb?

We have removed a wall, with the new timber about 1.5m X 3m wide.

I did a phone quote, but am not sure if we should:

(1) sand/polish the whole room vs matching the new floor.
(2) if the price per sq/m is reasonable at $35.

What are they doing for $35 per sqm? That's in the ball park however.

They said they needed to do the whole room- so sanding back and repolishing 32 sqm.

Just normal stuff- I'd love to do the whole black japan thing but maybe later.

The wood is old baltic pine. It will be partially covered by a couch.

$25 a m2 is about the going rate. $22 is on the lower scale, and $35 is too high.
