Thanks, Rolf. The point I was trying to make is that, contrary to deejay's concerns, you're not "stuck" with a broker who you're not happy with (which you've confirmed, thanks). :)

My understanding is that you can ask your new broker to manage your "old" loans, and they'll contact your old broker and arrange the transfer. Brokers: is this correct, or not that simple?
