    ....or you could put a strip of timber on top of the door to make it taller. I've seen this done previously and looks very nice after having been painted. I could not tell the size of this door had been extended, until after close inspection. Stunning result.

    This is after all a rental property. Vacancy rates are low. So is it worth all the trouble paying the extra $$$$ for gas? Perhaps a little cost/benefit analysis would assist here. For what it's worth...I've never had a tenant say no to one of my rental units because it's all electric and no gas!:)
