Cabinets and walls and trims repainted, new handles on the cabinet (to match the kitchen), updated light fittings, new carpets (on stairs and upstairs), and new lino.
The room you can see off to the right is the fourth bedroom of this townhouse unit, or an office. It has its own landing and external door.
What was there before? The front of the area is a loungeroom (5m x 3m), which had carpet that smelled like child's urine and animal poo. There was carpet in the bedroom too, which had all sorts of stains on it and I found it had no underlay when I pulled it up. The rest of the area was very old damaged and stained. There were skirting boards only in a few places. Pretty disgusting, to be honest. The bathroom was a nightmare.
