Hi all,
Silly question - but with all the support on here I am hoping somebody can help me out.
Has anybody got a 'structure' that they use or a way of making a document which outlines long term and short term goals.
How do you go about writing them out so they are straightforward and...
1. 100% of the shots we DONT take DONT go in....
2. You can race a dead horse around the track but its still dead at the finish line (in other words - get rid of s*it and wear the loss if need be).
3. DO IT!
4. If there is nobody knocking - build a door!
I suppose that it depends how much you WANT to get from it.
If you are able to put it all together with a good builder who will help you - then it may only require a couple of hours work and then just paying the progress payments on time. In which case - if you get $60k from it you might want...

Anyone had this situation?
I sell houses for the builder - and my colleague is a production estimator in the business so from both angles we get good coverage - I know what people out there are requesting for a new home, and where... and he can work out the best supplier for maximum profit...
We have not built to...
dont mess around with it - the BSA and HIA will protect the builder in most cases as the builder pays fees every year to keep them in business!!!!
Builder could try to slap you for interest on the contract price - which could hurt also....
Just grit your teeth and count it as an...
Hi All,
i have a colleague of mine who is looking to invest in some property - and was wondering if anyone has invested with friends before and what are the pitfalls/good points?
he has got $400k equity, and wants to use some of it to build a house to on-sell.
We both work in the...
Keep it as a 4 bedder... more rental appeal... and on a family block you would have to assume people would be more drawn to 4 bed home.
2.9 x 2.9 would be pretty normal size room in most homes - they are only kids bedrooms and most people will be happy with this size.
Are there any users on the board who reside on the Sunshine Coast?
I am keen to meet up with like-minded people, to increase my knowledge of investing and how to finance IP's properly, set it up correctly for taxation etc.
