Ah yes of course! That makes perfect sense as the extra paid on the IP loan when re-drawn cannot have the interest claimed on tax. (I hope I am right on this :) ) Thanks for all your help, I can bet I will have a few more questions over the coming days and weeks! Ash

Thanks for the reply, I will go further into my situation. I am currently living back at home with my parents and as this is my last year of Uni I will need/want to move out at the end of this year so I will need to either stop renting out my IP and move in or purchase another house to move...
