I'm thinking of building a decking 6700 Length x 2300 width and 500 high. It will have an overhead pergola. Do I need a Permit for something this size in the City Of Frankston? Can they make you pull it down if you don't get one?
I totally agree. Frankston Nth, Karingal & Carrum Downs are all the same class of people. Frankston Nth is in the best location but houses are more run down or shitter than the other two locations. Give it 10yrs lets see
I'm currently living in my Frankston Nth house doing some renovations - I'm building a deck & pergola plus doing some cosmetic changes. It seems the area has come along in leaps and bounds since last time I was here 3yrs ago.
What happened to the epic Frankston North thread I opened about 3yrs ago?
I didn't see anything wrong with that one, alot of people were still using that.
Now that would be a bargin. Its more like $50,000 extra and always has been.
I recon you can pick up a crappy fibro in Frankston Nth for $280k, brick places are about $300k. Will cost you $340k for a dump in Karingal and $360+ for anything decent.
I've had a few people private message me now asking me to stop letting everyone know about Frankston North because they are wanting to buy a couple in there and don't want it getting to popular. No matter how much people talk it down and try to hang on to the old stigma things are changing...
Yes it might not be blue chip Brighton or Sandringham but it's not as expensive either. Tell me then........ where else can you buy a 3 or 4 bedroom house with double garage on a block of land 600sqm+ that is as close to the bay, shops, schools for $303k in Melbourne? You can't. This area will...
I have been saying it for years, Frankston North is geographically in a Fantastic location. Things are getting better and better. As the population grows there will be more and more demand for this area.
