Central Coast JUst sold our PPOR in Hamlyn Terrace ( near Kanwal/Warnervale ) Bought Dec 2001 $241K Sold June 2003 $336K Pretty Good I'd say and that increase would be better then alot of places in Sydney!!

Don't know much rental return etc is for area but we were looking around up there 2 weeks ago and called in at the New AV JENNINGS estate and found out it sold out with in 4 days of being released in june this year. Didn't know the demand was so high up there!!

Is there any advantage building new homes in "boom area's" over buying ESTABLISHED homes( like NSW Central Coast for example ) ?
