    Minto vs Ambarvale- IP

    Minto? Minto's got nothing=Zero going for it. I'd go for Ambarvale hands down. There are some nice properties out there. I'm actually thinking of selling one of my IP's in Manly West(QLD) and buying in Ambarvale. CG might not be the best... but will finance another purchase with the rent return..

    LL insurance Mate I reckon youre pretty right. The excess is high because of the high turn over of residents on short term basis which for the insurer increases the risk of claims.The management takes the money upfront dont they? for short stay?

    Strange I've probably got exactly the same set up as you Rob. LOC with Comm bank/Colonial with transactional account (streamline) where WBA and comm bank take there money out. Got 2 IP's with the same set up, no probs..
