I should probably clarify that I bought this house 18mths ago. When I say commit I mean commit to changing something before checking that it will actually help! My dad helped me renovate the entire inside of the house and I spent $40k. So now I'm worried that when it comes time to sell in 1-2...

This is the back of the house... so more of the same, and then there's a 6m x 6m double bay shed in the back corner, and there's juuuust enough space to drive cars down the side of the house and into the shed.

When you say a simple deck, do you mean at the front porch area, or across the whole front of the house?

Thanks for the suggestions! The house faces south. It isn't an overly busy street but does have a bit of traffic at school times. All of the houses surrounding it are brick, so it does stand out a fair bit!

Can anything be done to improve the facade of this house? I don't want to commit unless there's a cost effective way to improve the street appeal. The roof looks flat in this picture, but it does have a slight slope (very slight). Thanks in advance :)
