Take some goggles, I was there in 1999 and it was windy creating a dust storm.
They were selling disposable goggles for $5 but sold out by 10.00am. I offered a guy $20 for his as the dust was terrible. By midday I had guys offering $50 for them.

I'm thinking if I had no immediate plans I'll shut it all down. Considering the annual costs it wouldn't be much more to start a new one anyway, and then there's no risk from previous dealings.

I kept my business account in the company name open as well, under advice from my accountant. The $10/month really peev's me off.

I've done a small cheap build in Valentine (Lake Macquarie), 38m2 with own access via lane way. It easily rents for $255/week.
If I'd spent another $30k I'd Ibe getting around the $300/week Mark. It's on ppor though and I wasn't willing to sacrifice anymore backyard.

If rates jumped to 9% over night, I'd ok for two years. At which point my wife and I would need to go and get real jobs again.
I see 9% as a real possibility at some point down the track, so I'm working to eliminate that threat over time, increase cash flow...
