Got replaced around the end of last year i believe. The new site seems aimed a lot more at beginners or those with little financial education. To their credit it is a lot easier to use though.

Something I fell and see much more in the property market than the share market. A much greater sense of emotion and attachment. Although when your share holdings start falling 5% a week i know which one evokes a more emotional response! ;)

True - the ATO has come down hard on some similar structures. See Hart's case. However a company I used to work for put clients into a similar structure using a global loan type facility they set up with Colonial. They would then capitalise the interest on the investment loans and pay down...
