Buying new is definitely not the only way to go :) Is it possible that the people telling you this are more interested in tax deductions than wealth creation? This seems to be the case with more than half the people I talk to in general.

You have good taste! I had a drive of a new 911 Carrera & 911 GT2 last year, and they are most beautiful things. One of my personal goals from the property investment business to to collect one of these in the not-to-distant future. Or an Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage, of course :cool:
