Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you are building resi rental properties then they will be input taxed regardless of whether you buy in your name or a trust... no gst will be claimable. JC

Mate, why don't you just give your accountant access to your pc. They can log on to your pc from there office to prepare BAS/Tax etc Works great with MS based pc's not sure with Macs though. Cheers, JC

Thanks guys, the vendor seems to be withholding information. The agent is saying they spent a fair bit of money on a geotech/engineering reports but have since misplaced them! Hmmm, I'm guessing it wasn't a good report!! JC
