    A couple of questions for PMs regarding inspections

    Just going through this at the moment. Keys were handed in on Monday ,Tuesday attended final inspection and PM was not happy as the power had been disconnected .She rang me today and said she has requested the former tenant reconnect the power ,so all up I am pretty pleased she is so thorough.

    I suggest you read the booklet for Renters and Landlords that should have been given to you by the RE Agent. You can't ditch the contract with the tenant because it is a legal document . The tenant pays $400 per week for 12 months .If the property is in Victoria ,they then go onto a month...

    Thanks Rob G for the advice, tree to be removed is on fence line,where a new fence has to go up ,other trees are almost over power lines.Looks like capital expense. Ta Judy

    I have to get a tree removed , and have three others pruned back,this will have to be done with a cherry picker , a rather big job. The trees are very old,but I have only had the property for 18 months [IP ] Will this work be a tax deduction, can any body advise ? Judy

    aha !! Remember poor old Michelle sleeping in her car with her 2 kids ? Heard on radio this evening that a very generous, soft hearted couple who live in a caravan in FnQ had a home in Melbourne that they allowed Michelle to rent from them,and low and behold she hasn't been paying the rent...
