We are looking at buying an IP house in Melton, Vic. Looking at a loan of around $190-$200,000. Anyone have any advice as to what priced properties we should be looking at and at what price to start negotiating? Also, is it worthwhile talking to some RE agents re: any properties not listed...

I am looking at buying an IP in Melton due to the good rental yields and rise in the market of late. I know alot of info about Melton (form own research and reading posts here), but am wondering if the same thing applies to Kuunjang? Seems to be very nice houses there for under $220,000 Kristy

Thankyou. I think I would feel more comfortable not having to worry about all that for now. The rental yield wouldn't be very good on that property for how much we would have to pay for the entire package.
