Well personally I think the generation living 1000 years ago (Gen A?) had it much tougher. Must've been tough even having your own house back then, what with mercenary armies invading and ransacking the village every few months.
This is something I've noticed heaps of my friends doing, buying $15-20K cars when they dont even have money to spare.
I've got an even better strategy - date a girl who drives a nice car. Hey, why can't a guy be a golddigger for once? ;)
I believe there are websites with sound files (phrases) from Arnold Swarznegger movies (or even Colonel Clink from Hogan's heroes).
It always brightens my day when a telemarketer calls, and a strange German voice tells them "Silence, American!" or Arnie's voice screaming at them "Who are you...
0.44 seconds on first try (does this mean I dropped my payload before taking off?)
34.98 seconds on 2nd try
43.44 seconds on 5th try
Since I have a short attention span like most of my generation, I'm getting kind of bored and-
I've never eaten whale before (is it illegal in Australia?). However I probably wouldnt enjoy it, I don't usually like "big meat". I find they have this really hard texture.
On one hand, she is a very determined and ambitious woman.
On the other hand, so was Adolf Hitler. (Well, not the woman part)
Still, I believe it is quite fitting for a politician to become a real estate agent. Their jobs are quite similar :D
Has anyone noticed the sudden spate of urban apartments being constructed in Melbourne? I went back to Melbourne after 3 months away, and found another 3-4 apartments being advertised. I think Docklands was a big one, but there's also some near Crown, a few near Melbourne U.
I'd love to live...
The great thing about being in university is that all your friends are poor too. Its perfectly normal to drive a century-old car, share giant packs of no-brand chips, and wear clothes from Target.
I'm a little dense - I don't understand it. I know what the concept is, but why would people be paying for a tiny ad on a website, which will probably not be noticed at all? Wouldn't it be smarter to buy a banner ad?

I was lucky to work in smaller...
Having worked for a few restaurants/stores in my high school days, I can say that the main issue is employees aren't paid to care. At $8 an hour, teenage staff don't really care about the job; they just want a few bucks and get out.
Actual theft is rare, but "freebies" are common. If a friend...
I love the sight of wind power farms. I know some people say they spoil the landscape, but standing near them, they're magnificient achievements of engineering.
I remember the "Choose your own adventure books", I used to read them a lot in primary school, especially the fantasy ones.
Isn't Zork a graphic adventure game (like Myst)? Or at least the one I played (Zork: Nemesis) was.
I think there's also an interactive fiction contest or something...
