My tiler did that for me as he has done it quite a few times before. It took him 10 min to knock down the wall panel,and about 3 hours for the column. It was very easy apparently. He only charged me $150 for doing that and I am making him to patch the hole on the ceiling later, for free of coz.

Cheers mate. I will look into the tax standards and see if there is anything I can get from it. But I doubt there would be much i can get as the carpets were very very old and yeah it's not generating income yet.
