    Exact name on contract for a trustee company

    I have purchase quite a few properites through various trusts and have always used Option 2. XYZ Pty Ltd as Trustee for ABC Trust. I am not saying it is right, but it has worked for me, and I never paid two lots of stamp duty.

    Disconnection ???

    Most utilities companies don't physically disconnect the services. You should however close your account for that property. If you don't, then you will be paying the bills for the new tenant if they don't notify the utilities company. Cheers, Nick
