    Selling Agent Terms and Conditions

Thanks Propertyunity, useful thread - I wonder if the REINSW uses the same standard contract as REIVC. A further question if I might, the t's and c's list as the trigger for an agents entitlement to a commission as the property being sold and states that ""sold" is the result of obtaining a...

    Selling Agent Terms and Conditions

Hi, If anyone has experience in the selling process in Victoria, I'd greatly appreciate advice on t's and c's with the selling agent. We've been given the REIV Code 002 Exclusive Sale Authority form which has standard t's and c's on the back. It's clear the commission, outgoings, periods...

    Cost for built in robes

wow. thanks all for the replies. I think I'm seeing a combination of Perth pricing combined with a bit of di&k head tax. We've had a few quotes now and all seem to be coming in the same ball park. Hinges for the doors are apparrently about $100 each and so with hinges alone we're at 1400...

Updating the HDT - who pays?

First of all, I'd like to say thanks to Chris for the information and openness in sharing the results of looking into the HDT issue and getting a result that at least secures past usage. Whilst my thinking is obvious from the post below, please note that I'm not yet advocating a position as...

    PM Fee's, WA

Thanks Thanks everyone for the replies. I've calculated the annual as around 10% which sounds ballpark WA with the feedback here. Based on prior experience I'm focused on quality and the recommendation I have gives me comfort on that as well as this feedback that this isn't out of step...

Are BAs a ripoff like many REAs & FPs ?

Stephen, Just read your post from January on a BA in Brisbane you were in thye process of using. If you're still happy with their service, and you don't mind, I'd be happy to get a referral from you. I'm in a similar situation to you being OS and wanting to buy, but little time. I've not...

Can someone rent his own IP??

Thanks, Token Funder, think I'm going to talk to my accountant about the process for seeking a ruling (nothing ventured etc.). Our circumstances seem (at least superficially) similar to that case.

Can someone rent his own IP??

Their advice was that it had to be a temporary arrangement and therefore short timeframe was important. I suspect it came to the point that a long-term arrangement may be construed as being for taxation purposes. But I don't see that in the private ruling shown in this thread.
