Just to clarify I have not suggested kicking them out on the basis of been questioned or arrested from the police.
I do want them gone but understand they have a lease. I have got legal advice and will not be commenting further until the matter is resolved. Thanks to most for your advice...
General renting rules for tenants are as follows:
Pay rent on time
Keep the place clean, tidy and __undamaged__
Keep to the terms of your tenancy agreement
Respect your neighbours? right to peace and quiet
I also completely disagree that its my place to complain to the police. If the tenants wish to ask for compensation its up to them not me.
Of course I have documented the damage.
The issue with the other tenant only came about last week. Clueless? How so?. Did normal checks and they were all clear. Paid bond and rent in full. Seemed like ok people but you never do know until they move in.
Ive been renting out places for over 10 years. Had a pretty good run but...
They have been released by the police.
I have politely asked them to move on. Naturally they aren't happy and haven't exactly had a good day. Hopefully they move on. If not I have some reasons to breach. Dog in the house. Person living there not on lease. They have to fix the damage...
You don't need to worry about getting your own cabling you just need to nbnco to do their job.
Linen cupboard may not have sufficient ventilation however
The internal NBN equipment should be installed:
Near a safe power outlet
In a cool, dry, ventilated area
Away from busy...
I more inclined to go with the warning from the police who told me these people are dangerous rather than worry about seeing the warrant.
Do I have grounds for an Abandonment notice? I have no idea were they are I just assumed arrested or in jail
Currently the security door is in pieces...
