I just heard roughly it costs $350 per sqm for bricking the external walls. I sort of pretty much fancy this idea...the whole house will become sort of brick house in $35-40k...plus internal transforming which might need another $30k, but is that sounding a good idea?...imagine the whole house...

Did you eventually get your IP vinyl cladded or brick cladded? I am considering an IP fibro house in Western Sydney brick-cladded as well. I really like bricked house rather than fibro or vinyl cladding fibro house.
I thought I would buy it the normal way, the only thing is, my husband's SMSF fund seems sitting there doing nothing, and I thought it would be a good idea to get the fund at least working...

The bank doesn't allow us to do guarantor plus borrower this time though, so we decide just do two borrowers this time.

Thank you Aaron. So, it's not easy to actually put me as the guarantor then... but is it true in the longer term, with my husband as the sole borrower and me being guarantor will increase the total borrowing capacity once I return to work, say, making another $50k-$80k per year?
