Am looking at a buy and hold strategy...so capital gains/good rental yield I guess. I guess my dilemma is that I am tossing up with the Eastern Suburbs/Northern Beaches/Inner West vs Western Sydney. I could probably get better rental yields maybe out west and cheaper too with more land content...

Thanks, I understand that, but it adds to the cashflow and I am just curious as to what age depreciation schedules are no longer viable for IP's? 10, 15, 20 years??

What age range should I look at for an IP to be able to claim some decent depreciation?. What would be the max cut off do you think? Thanks

Would love to know if you bought in Sydney recently, was it PPOR or IP, how much, where and why more importantly? Am currently looking myself and would be interested to see where others are buying. Cheers
