I'm undecided whether to use polished porcelain or use the matt finish. The polished porcelain looks awesome. Tile shop owners have recommended not to use polished porcelain if it's for a rental property as these tiles are prone to scratching.
What would you recommend?

Would also be interested what you've organise for the common areas i.e. strata mgt such as future maintenance of the driveway etc etc
I wouldn't sell if that was what you're alluding. if property is the vehicle for you to accumulate wealth then it is a long term play. if you intend to keep accumulating then perhaps think of other states that may be in a better part of the cycle to suit your risk profile.

However i was wondering if you had to get a BA20A signed by the neighbour giving you permission to remove the portion of the fence when you built the garage wall on the boundary?

if you don't mind but could i ask what if you got your neighbour to sign off on the BA20A form and what was written to describe the reasons? This form is to get the ok from them to remove the fence so that a boundary wall can be built, looking at your plans unit 1 has a garage wall on...

and is there an equivalent to landlords insurance where it covers damage and lost of rental income if the tenant bolts?
