I'd stay away from Oakey, place is only going backwards in my opinion. Just go for a drive down the main street and you'll see what I mean. The place isn't exactly landlocked either, I think you would be just be taking a punt. Better off looking around Gowrie Junction area I'd say.

I used to organise this sort of thing. Basically the applicable party would find the property they wanted and we would just handle the lease paperwork. As said before, mainly dealing with newer properties. Also we never looked at leases longer than 12+ months as there was the risk of someone...

I second the notion of looking at banklink. Will make your life a lot easier and tax time a breeze as your accountant already will have most of the info they need.

Just a thought as another option, why not forget about the land idea and go for an established house? Surely financing that will be 10x easier?

I justify the purchase of newer/better cars by telling myself that it's safer so is the right thing to do by myself! :D But I think it's a serious issue that a lot of us consider to neglect when purchasing a car.
