WA to potentially remove paprtment developemt provisions from R30/R34 zones

Correct. Structure Plans are the mechanism for applying the code. Anywhere you can do a structure plan, you can apply RMD codes.

WA to potentially remove paprtment developemt provisions from R30/R34 zones

QUOTE=Tano;1270173]How so? Do you have a link that summaries the new benefits? Also Tano, re changes to how single res is dealt with: you might want to check out the planning bulletin released last week by the WAPC regarding 'Medium-density single house development standards' (or RMD Codes...

WA to potentially remove paprtment developemt provisions from R30/R34 zones

Just a quick update on the progress (or lack of) with the proposed Amendment to the R-Codes regarding multi-res development at R30/R35 (read the original email and thread below for a quick refresher). Since my last update the amendment has been advertised with the final report having been...

    Landscaper Recommendation Perth

Hi Chomp, just wondering who you ended up going with for the landscaping, and if you'd recommend them? I need a front yard done at my Bayswater IP too. Job involves planting, seeding, paving, concrete pouring, mulching, etc.

    Perth landscaper

Hi HD, just wondering if you ended up engaging anyone for the landscaping? I'm looking for someone to landscape my IP (I too have a landscape plan, I just need someone to construct). Little bit of everything involved in my job (planting, seeding, paving, concrete pouring, mulching, etc)...

    60cm appliances vs 90cm appliances

+1 on the 900 cooktop, 600 oven. 900 cooktop = impressive looks and greater useability for a small increase in price; 900 oven = lower performance (unless you need to fit that whole Christmas ham in your oven) and a significant increase in price.

WA to potentially remove paprtment developemt provisions from R30/R34 zones

Update - Feb 2015 Hi all. A quick update on the R-Codes Amendment: The DoP are rushing to finalise the report to the Commission, which they are scheduled to discussed at this month?s meeting on the 24th. The report, agenda item and outcomes however are all confidential, and it is likely that...

Can I claim scrapping on yard demolition without prior QS Schedule

FYI I was intending on claiming the removal of the asbestos fence as a capital expense for the house I am building on the rear block, as this removal was undertaken as part of the construction contract.

Can I claim scrapping on yard demolition without prior QS Schedule

Hi Scott thanks for the quick response. So to answer 1 & 3 a QS Schedule would be requitred to claim the scrapping (whether done before or, less likely, after the demolition)? I only ask as I am aware an accountant can do their own simplified depreciation schedule for calculating normal...

Can I claim scrapping on yard demolition without prior QS Schedule

Hi guys, I recently cleared a rear block (with a lot of stuff on it) before subdividing, and was wondering if I have left it too late to claim depreciation/scrapping on the demolished/removed items. I (foolishly) didn't get quantity surveyor schedule done before demolition, much of the stuff...

City of Stirling plans to ban all multiple dwellings below R60

Update Hi guys, I thought I would provide a bit of an update (somewhat overdue): The outcomes of advertising went to the 16 September Council meeting. Surprisingly, 323 submissions were received objecting to the amendment (i.e. in favour of multi dwellings) with 84 submissions supporting...

Building construction inspection at milestones on home build

Excuse my construction ignorance, but why do you say that Tools? Is the determining factor more about the site prep/levels pre-pour than the post pour product?

Building construction inspection at milestones on home build

Quite right. To clarify, it isn't the builder that recommended the above, but a project manager who was overseeing the subdivision/construction process. For other reasons though, I am still inclined to NOT go with their inspector of choice, so yep I'll be looking elsewhere. I might give...

Building construction inspection at milestones on home build

According to my project manager (and I use the term VERY loosely): The independent building inspectors they liaise with have two packages: The first package includes inspections at every drawdown stage of construction. The prices per building are: Slab Inspection $330.00 Plate...
