    Lalor/Epping Vs Broadie/Jacana/Coolaroo

I think Lalor, Epping have better streetscape than Coolaroo and Dallas. The residential area of Coolaroo is not big, as half of the area is industrial. Talking about industrial in Coolaroo, does anyone see it as a negative agaisnt the suburb?

    Lalor/Epping Vs Broadie/Jacana/Coolaroo

I have been looking at Coolaroo in the past month or so, and noticed that properties are generally sold at the lower end of the price range. Some even ten to twenty thousand bellow the quoted range. No doubts Coolaroo has picked up a lot in the past 12 months, but the question is whether it has...

    MEadow Heights

Hi, I am also considering Meadow Heights. Coolaroo has gone up a lot since last year, and older houses than Meadows Heights. But I have not been there before, can one walk from Meadow Heights to the Coolaroo station without crossing the busy Pascoe Vale Road ?

    Albion,Ardeer,Broadmeadows,Coolaroo, DeerPark or StAlban

After attending some auction, I believe the market in Dallas and Coolaroo has stabilised. There are posters that raised concerns of smell from the Water treatment plan in Dallas, but I could't smell any when I was there. May be only when the wind blows ??? On Coolaroo, the price has sky...

Melbourne suburb, below $350K, good cap growth and rental

Hi I find that generally suburd with reasonably good rental yield, such as Pt Cook, does not enjoy much capital growth. With a budget of say $350K, can someone recommend a place with good capital growth and a rental yield of say 4%. I am considering Glenroy, Pascoe Vale, Bundoora for...

    Glenroy, Vic

As Belu said the price in Glenroy has gone up, but so as other places. I find that one may be able to get a older house for $350K , but the rental can only be about $260, if I am correct. Could someone recommed an upcoming suburb that one can buy a house for below $350K with good capital...

    Greensborough

Greensborough is quite a bid suburd. The northern part ( north of the Ring Road ) usually has bigger and newer houses, but further from the Greensborough Plaza. Personally, I find streets like Vermont Pde, Lyell Parade are within walking distance to the main shopping area, yet not too close...

South Morang or Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne

Compare to many other new areas, I think South Morang has a lot of trees around. Compare to the western suburds, I believe the west is closer to CBD by radius.

    Point Cook, Melbourne

Hi Allison, I thot $290 for a land inc house is very cheap. How big is the land size ? Have the costs include site costs etc. Point Cook in my opinion is a good area, with the William Landing station to be build soon, it will only get better. You may be aware that the new selective entry...
