Callum Thanks. I gave my accountant all the spredsheets for IPs and also all the shares transactions, dividends etc in spredsheets as well. I use the software Topshare which also calculates CGT. Even with all these my accountant says that he spent 26 hrs and has charged me hefty $2400. He works...

Selling IP - 50% now and %05 after 6 months

I have an IP for sale and have been offered the price that I am happy about. The reason he wants to...

    Fixed Term Interest

I have a fixed interest term loan of 6.64% expiring in 2010. As all the banks are now lowering their fixed interest term eg 6.99% with 1 year term and the prediction is that there are further cuts to come - is it right time to switch now to variable rate as I have put my property on the market...

    Cash management accounts/Term deposits

Term Deposit Hi Jingo Westpac is currently offering 8% for 5 years fixed term. This will suit you if your fixed home loan has 5 years to go. They also offer other terms as well. With subprime loan crisis in US I will be more comfortable with Westpac than BankWest Good Luck Viphar
