July edition of The Somersoft mag - oops I mean API

Hi all, The team here at API have been following this thread (no surprise there I guess) and wanted to say we, of course, also love what Sana and Mona have achieved and how they've let us share their story. It's quite the privilege to have investors like them in our pages. We're always on...

Your subdivision profiled in our mag

Cheers Mikey. Also - we let all our case studies proof their stories before publication. The mag tries really hard to make sure the subjects are happy with what's discussed in their case studies.

Your subdivision profiled in our mag

That's understandable - alot of investors feel this way of course. We have done anonymous stuff very occasionally in the past but never as a feature (usually as a small breakout box/case study in a much larger article). The publisher and editorial team usually reject anonymous profiles - they...

Your subdivision profiled in our mag

Yes - it's entirely voluntary. I don't think any mag pays for stories in this space.

Your subdivision profiled in our mag

API magazine - looking for simple splitter project in any location which showed a reasonable profit. All the better if there was an interesting lesson learned on the way. Would have to be a completed project so we could talk costs and profitability.

Anyone made fast equity and want to tell the story

Luck would certainly play a part in that case, but it'd be interesting to find out what sort of research and analysis was done prior to buying the investment. Study the market cycle, look at certain stats, consider your locations, do you do renovation?? All that stuff would come into play I'd think.

Anyone made fast equity and want to tell the story

The first million would make for a great read.

Anyone made fast equity and want to tell the story

You're right of course - quickly is a relative term. From a story perspective it would be nice to talk about someone making their first million in a year or two but accept this is a big stretch in property and probably extraordinarily high risk. Really just happy to just talk to people who...

Anyone made fast equity and want to tell the story

Looking to write a story on someone who's used a strategy (i.e. not luck or lotto) to build $1 million in equity quickly - all the tips, tricks and traps. Drop me a line if you're interested.

    Mag story on profitable reno

I'll drop you a line. ... and even I don't get a lifetime subscription after all my long months of service :)

    Mag story on profitable reno

We do "Where are they now stories" - most are positive but there are plenty who've had some negative things happen which is the way of property as you all know. I like doing the stories that have got a few "lessons to learn" in them, but some people are, by nature, are a bit shy on opening up...

    Mag story on profitable reno

Back on deck Hi all, Sorry for the late replies - been away from work for a stretch. It is for an API story. Someone who made $100k in six months would be in the ball park, so $70k in three months sounds good. I just want to do a story where most of the profit is made from being smart with...

Anyone interested in having the story of their most profitable deal published? I'm looking for someone who made at least a six figure profit within the last two years on a project - you'd need to be willing to go into details for a national magazine. Email me.:)
